2009 Honda CR-Z Concept










The latest version of Honda CR-Z Concept 2009 will be revealed at October’s Tokyo Motor Show.

The Honda CR-Z sporty hybrid concept is the most recent prototype of a compact, agile coupe using Honda’s IMA technology. When the production version goes on sale in the UK next summer 2010, it will be the world’s first sports hybrid car, and the first ever petrol-electric vehicle to employ a 6-speed manual transmission.

2011 REVA NXG







Styled by Dilip Chhabria, the REVA NXG is a M1 category, two-door, two-seater car with a targa top. The REVA NXG has a range of 200km (125 miles) per charge and a top speed of 130 kph (80 miles per hour). It features the same telematics as the REVA NXR, including REVive and, using the fast charge, it has an effective range of 400 kms (250 miles) a day. This showcar, the REVA NXG, is REVA’s 2011 model and its first showing is at the Frankfurt Motor Show (IAA). Pricing in Europe excluding batteries is from 23,000 euros plus a monthly mobility fee.

Every REVA NXR and REVA NXG will be Born Green, meaning they will have one of the lowest dust-to-dirt carbon footprints of any car in mass production.

2009 Infiniti G37 Anniversary Art Project Vehicle





Infiniti Canada revealed the Infiniti G37 Anniversary Art Project Vehicle at the 14th Annual Canadian Art Gallery Hop Gala in Toronto. To commemorate Infiniti’s 20th anniversary, Infiniti Canada partnered with Cirque du Soleil(R) to create a one-of-a-kind G37 Sport Coupe. Montreal artist Heidi Taillefer created the design and spent almost one month hand-painting the exterior of the vehicle.

Infiniti’s partner and inspiration for the G Coupe Anniversary design concept, Cirque du Soleil, is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year and was also present at the unveiling.

Heidi Taillefer was one of several artists asked to submit a design concept for the exterior of the Infiniti G Coupe. No structural changes could be made so the car could remain safe and driveable, and able to be auctioned off for charity at a later date. Heidi’s inspired design “Ligozzi” was ultimately selected and she spent much of August and early September painting the vehicle.

The Anniversary Vehicle will be on tour at various Cirque du Soleil shows and other events over the coming months. The car will eventually be auctioned off for charity. For more information please visit www.infiniti.ca.

2009 Wiesmann MF5 Roadster










The Wiesmann MF5 Roadster limited edition comes with a 5.0-liter V10 front mid-engine with a 3-way catalytic converter and fuel injection. The Wiesmann MF5 Roadster equipped with a V10 engine, 507 HP and 520 Nm torque. The Wiesmann MF5 Roadster delivering a top speed of 310 km/h, an exceptionally low power-to-weight ratio of only 2.7 kg/hp and completing the sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds.

The Wiesmann MF5 Roadster open-air will only be available to a select few because the spirited power package is only being produced in a limited edition of 55. The Wiesmann Roadster MF5 is available from a basic price of EUR 189,500.

e-WOLF is being marketed worldwide, with promotions concentrating initially on the Near East and Japan. e-WOLF is in a different league – it does not compete with the big sports car manufacturers. e-WOLF targets a market segment that has been neglected until now: extreme sports cars for a particularly elite clientele. To put it plainly: it is an electric sports car with a capacity for acceleration that puts it on the edge of technical feasibility.

2009 Lexus LF-Ch Concept

2011 McLaren MP4-12C










The McLaren MP4-12C is revealed as the first in a range of high-performance sports cars from McLaren Automotive, the independent car division based at the McLaren Technology Centre in Woking, England. The McLaren MP4-12C power comes from a mid-mounted 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, which produces around 600 bhp and 600 Nm of torque. The McLaren MP4-12C horses are sent to the rear axle through a 7-speed dual clutch transmission developed in-house called SSG.

At its heart, the McLaren MP4-12C features a revolutionary carbon fibre chassis structure, the Carbon MonoCell. The McLaren MP4-12C, is a high performance two-seat mid-engine model in the ‘core’ sports car market segment for cars costing between £125,000 and £175,000. The MP4-12C is pure McLaren, featuring no carryover parts from any other car, and will be produced by McLaren in the UK. It goes on sale through a dedicated, worldwide retailer network in early 2011.
